Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: What is the purpose of the Driver CPC ?
A: There are many good reasons the Driver CPC was introduced. It helps to ensure that all drivers are up to the required standard and are following best practice throughout the EU. This common standard means that there are fewer accidents on our roads. This makes the roads safer, not only for the drivers, but for all other road users.
  • Q: Do I need to give a copy of the safety statement to every employee ?
A: No, but the statement must be accessible to all employees. The sections of the safety statement relevant to particular employees must be brought to their attention, with specific regard to the risks, hazards and prevention measures concerning their job.
  • Q: How often should my safety statement be reviewed ?
A: A safety statement must be relevant at all times. Therefore, it should be reviewed at least annually, or more frequently, if your business changes or there is a reason to believe the information is no longer adequate.

I've been using Micheal for Driver CPC for over 5 years now and he makes it easy and hassle-free, knowledgeable and relatable. Many CPC trainers have no actual transport industry background so to have someone who understands what it's actually like to work as a professional driver is invaluable, and he can pass on knowledge of upcoming legislation and developments within the industry within which we work. Always a good cup of coffee on hand too!
