Description
I’m Katie Woollett, the designer and creator of “Original Strands”. I design and make a range of Irish contemporary handmade jewellery which includes a variety of chain necklaces, earrings, pendants, bracelets and rings in four distinctive collections. With its unusual angles, rings that taper with gems off-centre, and earrings that are inverted, my jewellery aims to evoke curiosity! Everything is made in my Dublin studio.

- Q: Can I visit you in your studio ?
A: Yes, I would be delighted for you to come to my studio in Marly Park, which I share with a colleague. I am there every 2nd week from Thursday to Sunday so it's a good idea to contact me beforehand to sure I will be there. - Q: Where is your jewellery made ?
A: All my jewellery is made by me in my studio in Dublin. - Q: What does " one of a kind " mean ?
A: This means only one piece as been made in that design. If you have a commissioned piece, the design will belong to the designer unless agreed otherwise during the design process. - Q: Do you do repairs and cleaning ?
A: Yes, I offer complementary cleaning service for any piece of my jewellery ! I'm also happy to repair any jewellery I have made, if at all possible. ( I do not do general cleaning nor 3rd party repairs.
