I had a disappointing experience with DFI Beds. I ordered a mattress online but shortly after delivery I realised it was not suitable for my bed frame because it was too high and felt much firmer than expected. I contacted DFI Beds soon after delivery and asked for an exchange or return. The mattress was only opened to check the fit with the bed frame. It was not slept on, not used, not damaged, not marked and not soiled. I also kept the original packaging. Despite this, DFI Beds refused to accept the return or exchange on hygiene grounds because the mattress had been removed from the packaging. In my opinion this is poor customer support especially for an online purchase where customers cannot properly check the height, comfort or suitability before delivery. A mattress is a long-term purchase, not something people buy for a few days. I expected a more flexible and customer-focused approach. Based on my experience, I would not recommend DFI Beds if you expect fair after-sales support.
