A: Custom Electronics Limited currently offer a site survey to advise on the most appropriate equipment for your requirements, ensuring that you will be supplied with the correct products for your application and environmental conditions. - Q: What regions does Custom Electronics cover ?
A: We cover all regions throughout Ireland & Northern Ireland. - Q: What service does Custom Electronics provide ?
A: Custom Electronics supply and commission Fire Detection and Alarm Systems, Disabled Refuge and Nurse Call. We can also provide an installation service. - Q: Are Fire Alarms mandatory in the workplace ?
A: You have a responsibility to provide a safe place of work; therefore, you must have a Fire Detection and Alarm System. - Q: How often should a Fire Alarm and Detection System be serviced ?
A: In general, a Fire Alarm and Detection System must be inspected and maintained every three months (four times per year), as per the I.S. 3218:2013 A1:2019 Standards. Some systems may only require two visits per year. - Q: Do I need Fire Extinguishers/Fire Blankets in the workplace ?
A: In accordance with Irish Standard 291:2015, you are required to have Fire Extinguishers and fire Blankets in the workplace. Note: Maintenance of Extinguishers should occur at least once per annum.
