My friend uses this salon all the time for her 2 week nail polish and they do look gorgoeus, ive complimented her many times on them, so many times infact on my birthday last month she bought me a voucher for the salon. I decided i would treat myself to the mink eyelashes (ive never had anything done like that before) so i rang Tuesday to make the appt and the soonest they could see me on an evening or late night was Saturday week, the girl of the phone was nice enough booked the slot and as i hadnt had this done before advised i would need to pop in anytime (as would only take a minute) to have a patch test done, which i confirmed i was happy to do. Thursday night after work.. rang my mum to say id be late colleting my child and drove from Shankill to blackrock to have my patch test done. Arrived at the desk and explaiend why i was here, very busy salon at time and i can honestly say the girl ( i think the owner) looked at me like id 10 heads and said like you need to book an appt. to have a patch test, you cant just walk in, really condescending. I was so embarassed i just said oh right and left. Next day i decided id ring and see about booking an appt to have a patch test and i still wanted to have the eyeslashes done, the person who picked up the phone again was very rude (id swear the same person) , barely let me talk and lectured me about how they need time to do a patch test, would require a person , cant just walk in, for my own safety... Quite frankly i just couldnt believe it... i agree with everything she said, i never disputed this.. i was simply operating on how i had been advised initially and her manner and the fact that she wouldnt let me talk to explain... nah cancelled appointment, suppossed to be a treat, noyone deserves to be lectured to like that especially when your the customer. Anyway means one of my nieces will be very happy with a €50 euro voucher, definitely only a one of visit to use up the voucher though.
