Anita uses the latest evidence based research to guide her treatment plans. She uses a combination of exercise therapy, manual therapy and injury education to ensure the best results in reducing pain, increasing function and improving performance. Her current interests include sport, particularly GAA and Rugby as well as promoting physical activity and wellbeing for all ages.

- Q: How long is a treatment session?
A: Initial appointments can last between 30-45 minutes depending on how long the assessment takes. Subsequent sessions last approximately 30 minutes. If longer treatment time is required this will be advised when booking follow up appointments. - Q: Is physiotherapy painful?
A: Some treatment sessions can be uncomfortable. Please inform your physiotherapist if is becomes too uncomfortable. Sometimes you can experience pain the day after physio sessions. This is normal and normally subsides in 24-48 hours. - Q: How many treatment sessions will I need?
A: This is dependent upon your injury. Sometimes for example with back or next pain, it is common to need frequent sessions in the beginning. Whereas somebody rehabilitating themselves post op will likely need their sessions to be more spread out.
