Voltarol Emulgel P 1% w/w Gel is formulated to provide relief from pain and inflammation. This product, contained in a 30g tube, is designed to target pain at its source, offering a triple-action effect by relieving pain and reducing inflammation. The active ingredient, diclofenac diethylammonium, is an anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). The gel is suitable for conditions such as rheumatic pain, joint and muscular sprains, strains, and bruises. When applying the gel, the amount needed will vary depending on the size of the affected area; typically, an amount ranging from a cherry to a walnut is sufficient. It is recommended to apply the gel 3 to 4 times a day, with at least 4 hours between applications, unless otherwise directed by a doctor or pharmacist. It is not recommended for use in children under 14 years of age. If pain and swelling do not improve within 7 days, consult a doctor. Always read the label/leaflet.
