The Dimplex Alta 500W WiFi Panel Heater combines a slim Scandinavian-inspired design with intelligent heating controls and built-in WiFi connectivity. Designed for permanent wall-mounted installation, this compact 500W model is particularly well suited to smaller rooms and spaces where a lower heat output is appropriate. Built-in WiFi allows the Alta to connect directly to your home network without requiring a separate hub or additional control module. Once connected to the Dimplex Capa Connect app, heating can be managed remotely from a compatible smartphone or tablet. The app provides convenient control over temperature and heating schedules and makes it possible to manage multiple compatible heaters from one place. This is particularly useful when Alta heaters are installed across several rooms. For precise everyday temperature management, the Alta uses a digitally controlled electronic thermostat accurate to within ±0.2°C. The desired temperature can be set between 7°C and 30°C, helping maintain consistent room comfort while avoiding unnecessary heating. A seven-day programmable timer provides extensive scheduling flexibility, with up to seven heating periods available per day. This allows heating to be tailored closely around normal routines rather than leaving the heater running when the room isn't being used. Several operating modes are provided, including Normal Timer, Comfort, Eco, Away and Off. These make it easy to adapt the heater for everyday comfort, reduced-energy periods or longer absences. Controls can also be accessed directly from the heater through its digital display and capacitive buttons, so everyday operation doesn't depend entirely on a smartphone. Child Lock and Heater Lock functions help prevent unwanted changes to settings. The Alta uses a convective aluminium heating element with an upward-facing outlet grille to encourage effective circulation of warm air into the room.
